“Walk Across The Room”
September 12^th - October 24^th

Christ walked across His creation to reach out His hand to a sinful world and bring people into relationships with eternal consequences . Later, whether at the party at Matthew the tax-collector's house or with the woman at the well, Jesus sets the example for Christ­followers to be 'walk - across - the - room' kinds of people . Christ-followers are called to leave their comfort and enter what may be the zone of the unknown in order to interact with someone to whom the Holy Spirit has drawn them. It means a willingness to reach out a hand in grace and love to initiate a contact that doesn't see age, gender, skin color, or socio­economic status but sees instead the potential for the kingdom of God here on earth and into eternity.
