The J.O.Y. Small Group
This class is open to any adult who desires to share in a learning and growing experience.This class reads scripture aloud, several chapters a week.  This technique is quite similar to the way scripture was passed down in achient and early church times.  The class sequentioally reads and discusses selected passages with the view to understand the events and purpose of each passage.  Class members may give their intrpretation as to what it means to them..  The class not only attempts to understand the stories of old, but also searches to understand God's working through these events, and looks to see how this applies to today's world.  The class is on its second reading of the entire Bible.  Each reading finds new revelations to the members. Classes are held from 10:45 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. each Sunday.
