Music Ministries

The music ministry program at Saint James is both dynamic and inspiring. The program offers many Praise and Worship opportunities in song and performance for all ages. No matter what your cultural background we have a program for you to share your gifts. Music is worship in the most pure sense and we can’t help but feel joy in our heart when we praise God in this way.

Saint James Early Learning Academy

Their mission is to provide a safe, flexible environment for children that will allow parents a needed respite while cultivating a Christian foundation. Through joyful experiences of prayer, Bible stories, music, crafts and play, children are able to share Saint James' enthusiasm for Jesus Christ.

The program has a Christian focus, and the children will be exposed to stories, songs and pictures depicting Christian themes. Ages 6 weeks through Pre-K. The church believes it is important to celebrate the uniqueness of each child, and also meet some common needs for children of God:

• All children need love.
• All children need a sense of self-worth.
• All children need to feel a sense of accomplishment.
• All children need to have a safe place to be and express their feelings.
• All children need to be surrounded by adults who love them.
• All children need to experience the love of God.

Boy Scouts & Cub Scouts

The mission of the BSA (Boy Scouts of America) is to serve others by helping to instill values in young people and, in various ways, prepare them to make ethical choices over their lifetime and achieve their full potential. The values they strive to instill are based on those found in the Scout Oath and Law.

BSA PACK 14 (Cub Scouts) are boys first through fifth grade. They meet at the church Tuesdays 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. during the school year. Their motto is "Do Your Best."

Troop 14 meets weekly, plus one weekend per month for outdoor activity. Their goal is build personal character, form responsible citizens and learn by having fun.
