"Ministry In Motion"
Mission Statement of the dance team: To promote the gospel of Christ through movement and to edify our bodies as a living sacrifice holy and acceptable
before our Lord.
The Sacred Dance Ministry Team first formed in January of 2008, and continues to grow as a vital ministry of Saint James United Methodist Church. The Dance Ministry falls under the auspices of the Music Department. We work in conjunction with the Music Department and the Worship Design Team to coordinate our dance ministries with the scriptural themes being presented in worship. It is our desire to enhance our worship services with praise through dance for special liturgical events in the church (Christmas, Palm Sunday, Easter and Pentecost) as well as other church celebrations where dance can enhance the worship experience. Ministry in Motion is currently lead by Elisa Niles.
