Saint James Early Learning Academy

Their mission is to provide a safe, flexible environment for children that will allow parents a needed respite while cultivating a Christian foundation. Through joyful experiences of prayer, Bible stories, music, crafts and play, children are able to share Saint James' enthusiasm for Jesus Christ.

The program has a Christian focus, and the children will be exposed to stories, songs and pictures depicting Christian themes. Ages 6 weeks through Pre-K. The church believes it is important to celebrate the uniqueness of each child, and also meet some common needs for children of God:

• All children need love.
• All children need a sense of self-worth.
• All children need to feel a sense of accomplishment.
• All children need to have a safe place to be and express their feelings.
• All children need to be surrounded by adults who love them.
• All children need to experience the love of God.

United Methodist Men
The prime mission of the United Methodist Men is to encourage men to know Jesus Christ, to serve him, to grow spiritually and seek daily to do his will. To this end plans have been made to participate in United Methodist Men Annual Spiritual Retreats. At Saint James the men are involved in all aspects of church activity including Faithkeepers, Pancake Breakfasts, Wheels to Worship and fund-raising while reaching out to the community to meet the essential needs of those less fortunate.

The United Methodist Men are committed to taking an active role in supporting local mission projects, which will make a difference in the lives of many men, women and children. Missions that are benefiting from our financial support and labor include Second Chance, Last Opportunity, Habitat for Humanity and Resurrection House. Special work projects are scheduled to involve many men to meet the needs of these vital missions.

They meet rmonthly for fellowship. Pancake breakfasts and Bar-B-Ques are held annually to raise money for mission projects.
